I appreciate that you're looking out for pixiv artists and such... but a lot of DA artists actually have pixiv accounts, and can speak both japanese and english and many other languages.  I have to admit, this is a new experience for me.  It's rather bizarre.

Anyway...

Leaving for Youmacon in Detroit for the weekend.  If you're in the area or attending, please say Hi! And maybe remind me to eat this time since I tend to forget this when I get busy or too distracted =w=

I'll be at their artist alley derping around and probably doodling more Tipos and other unmentionables on my table.  My partner won't be going so I'll be all by my lonesome… possibly talking to my neighbours or just to myself.

Or… drawing unmentionables.

The latter is more likely though.

Will have a semi-healthy supply of tales of Graces art and suikoden art as usual.

Will also try to be online during the evenings to play or harass certain individuals.  Mostly harass. Lovingly.

Youmacon - TOMORROW

Otakuthon is over!  Had a blast meeting people.  Also spotted a number of tales of graces cosplayers.  Totally made my day.

- my awesome art group partner.  We had some trouble putting that old cage together but we somehow managed to build it so we could share the darned thing between our two tables.

I also had a chance to meet which are artists I usually only see at Anime North and never have much of a chance to speak to.

Thanks to everyone who came by my table to chat, commission, or buy stuff.  I had a great time in Otakuthon this year because of all the people I met and derped around with.

We just sold our house, same house we've lived in for 10 years.  So yes.. been very busy this month.  Selling the house was kind of out of the blue and we were lucky.  Our house was conditional sale 1 day in the market.  less than 4 days later, it was approved.  So by June 22, we no longer live here.

Basically our reason is that we're downgrading. The house we have is unreasonably big for only 4 people to live in.  And with each person so busy with work, maintenance is a hassle.  So we're now in the market for a small house, and with my parents already at the age where I should be supporting them or at least watch out for their situation, we've agreed on getting a townhouse.  This way, maintenance stays inside the house, outside is handled by hired workers.

Plus it would be a sorta small community to force them to socialize with their neighbours.  My dad in particular needs to do this, otherwise he drives me up the wall with conspiracies in life. orz

Anyway, with June 22 as our last day, I've been busy packing, sorting, chucking out things we don't need.  We'll likely do a garage sale at one point.  If you're in the Mississauga area and are interested in books, fabrics, etc, we'll be selling those away.  Oh. And hamster cages. I somehow have like... 3.

Aside all of this... I have so much stuff on the side going on.  Publishing, drawing, painting, and also the planning for a convention I work for.  Most of the bulk is done.  I'm just so tired all the time these days......
